Who killed the cousin of the president?
If it was the work of chance, is a macabre coincidence, if it was something else and see if you can tell with research, but for now the irony and paradox surrounding the murder of a relative of the president's family, Felipe Zavala McGregor. The execution in cold blood cousin of the wife of Felipe Calderon came just when the President has made the fight against organized crime and violence, most boot flag of his term.
In fact, yesterday, when Calderon was given the news that they had found the body of his cousin, had just given a speech at Huehuetoca, Mexico State, where he again warned that his government will not hesitate to apply "the full force of the State" against criminals. The president's face could not help expressing astonishment when informed him of the execution.
Upon learning of the murder, the president was flanked by Secretary of Defense, Guillermo Galvan, the Navy, Mariano Francisco Sayner, and the head of the PGR, Eduardo Medina Mora. Had just announced that 10 thousand soldiers were transferred to the Federal Preventive Police to strengthen the fight against insecurity and crime, and just hours before Felipe Zavala was executed by his killers.
Last night, in the Attorney General of the State of Mexico had ruled out robbery or even kidnapping as a motive. Zavala McGregor gas distributed to hotels in the area of \u200b\u200bNaucalpan and Tlalnepantla. Initial statements their families refused to have enemies, or who was involved in conflicts of any kind.
In the first hearings, the State of Mexico Attorney Carlos Flores confirmed the execution, the body of Felipe Zavala was kneeling on the back of his truck, with three bullets from a 9 mm gun. No valuables disappeared, and there were warnings of kidnapping.
is not common in this country long presidential tradition, a relative so close to the family who lives in Los Pinos, appears executed. The inquiries will tell if the crime is political connection, or if the political cousin of President Calderón was one of the thousands de víctimas que todos los días ejecuta la delincuencia en este país.
Si fue un crimen que nada has to do with President Calderon and his government would be better to clarify early and transparent reporting of investigations.
If otherwise, there is some kind of message in that execution, you should also get information, neither the country nor the President are to resist speculation and suspicion about a sensitive topic. Notes
prying. If Chuchos declared war Marcelo Ebrard and his future aspirations with the snub to his cabinet, something went wrong with the strategy of the New Left leaders. Breaking with Ebrard, trying to confirm their supremacy in mainstream in the PRD. But what happened yesterday in the election of the PRD capital shows that Jesus Navarrete Ortega and Carlos did not calculate well the effect of his breakup with Marcelo. The victory of Ricardo Ruiz and Carlos Reyes Gamiz, as president and secretary of the PRD-DF, indicates that Ebrard made a covenant with Alejandro Encinas and thus defeated the candidate of New Left, which showed no force touting their leaders. I said in the PRD began wrestling in 2012. Dice Snake repeated. It seems bad luck.
